Word Recognition Grade 1 to 5

TOSP subtest Word Recognition taps the pupils’ recognition of two types of words:

1) Words that appear in numerous contexts in daily conversation, and

2) Words that are seldom used in everyday speech, but appear frequently in all sorts of written texts - informational texts, technical texts and literary texts.

The subtest has 60 rows of such items and the pupil is asked to click on one item in each row.
